Types of diabetes
Diabetes is a complex disease with numerous manifestations. There are a number of additional varieties of diabetes besides the more prevalent ones, such as type 1, type 2, and gestational diabetes, which are as significant.
These other kinds of diabetes affect 2% of persons. These include various varieties of monogenic diabetes, diabetes linked to cystic fibrosis, and diabetes brought on by uncommon disorders. Antipsychotics, steroids, and other medicines may cause hormonal abnormalities, surgery, and other types of diabetes. Unfortunately, a large number of these patients have incorrect diagnoses, which causes delays in receiving effective care.
